Wireless profile problem

A re-boot and I've immediately got connection to my WLAN and the internet without having to do anything further. brilliant
I successfully altered the screen display with the X video option in the Setup Wizard but I'm not sure if my alteration was properly saved.

With respect rarsa, I did mention that I suddenly found the /etc/ra0mode file present as you described but I still wasn't connecting to my WLAN and internet. Anyway I'm more concerned with the result than the process and currently I seem to be able to acces the internet when I re-boot.
