Too bad he did not show here one of the newest versions of Puppy.

A lot of things have improved since Puppy 4.3.1.
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected

4.3.1's still perfectly serviceable, especially if you add a file or two to enable it to use newer versions of Firefox and Seamonkey.

BTW, I like this woman (Diana): she seems very keen on the whole enterprise (of testing distros and operating systems and reporting on them). She's engaging very brightly with her son and willing to have a go at things she hasn't seen before.

She suggested at the end, semi-humorously, that Puppy should adopt Dogpile as its main search engine; which I thought made a certain amount of sense.

overall all linuxes are user unfirendly for windowers

overall all linuxes are user unfriendly for windowers

How advanced brilliant the distro maybe, most cases wont't work for windowers.

If one would like it to become more user friendly they should sit down with a windower, ask him/her "what would you like to to ?" and from there on make the menu.

An XP wallpaper does not help.

I like this (human) video, i had it in my play-list.
It' s really for newbies, still valid even if the distro is old. :)
English spoken, speach is hard to understand, but however, it's OK.

Pelo,...your Puppy is lovely!!!! (didn't understand the spoken word, though).
And I absolutely am a HUGE fan of the older Puppy 4.31. I also am a mum,...(a grandmother, really). There are a few folks on this forum (such as our dear rusoodle and our indepensable forum member from the UK, Colonel Panic...who know me as a tiny, little, physical fitness-minded, and computer geek grandma--despite my ambiguous username),

Anyhow,...Puppy 4.31 might be a really good way to introduce a complete “newbie

nitehawk, happy you enjoy Moeppy. its a so lovely Puppy :) Lucid 528 is the base...
I rematerized only the kernel. Moeppy is now a version of Ubuntu (MoeBuntu)
That could give ideas to add some fun, design, beauty when building a Puplet from a raw Puppy
