Wiki updating needed

#1 Post by april »

I put Precise on the wiki then came across RSH (LazyPup) and the Lazypup distro which I could not even find a mention of on the wiki so perhaps other members who like certain flavours of puppy can get permission to edit the wiki and put their contribution in the way they want .

That's got to be a good starting point for Newbies as that's at the top of our forum page....................*Punctuation by Semme*

Precise page looks good http://puppylinux.org/wikka/PuppyPrecise

What are these 5.72, 5.75, 5.7577, 5.72311 things all about? That thread is hard to follow. Why don't they have names? Lol

Actually I made this one
http://www.puppylinux.org/wikka/Puppy_Precise
and I hadn't seen the page that came up with your post called PuppyPrecise (without the line hyphen . Its a bit of a mess really but as stated its the last of its line it seems.

Versions are numbered in order like 5.7.1 , A small change might make it 5.7.2 or a major change might make it 5.8.0 or a really big revamp might make it 6.0.0

You probably know that but just in case someone reading does not .
The higher versions look like some were trying to develop it further but I think its run out of steam now. That was 2015 latest.
