sound problem with eBox-2300 and Puppy-2.13

#1 Post by nyu »

I have an eBox-2300 from DMP Electronics and installed
Puppy-2.13 with a 1G Flash memory card as IDE0. The
installation went well. Actually, I am typing this
message from my eBox. I am having problem with SiS
7019, though. There is no sound. lsmod shows:
---------------------------------------------------
Module Size Used by
snd 51396 0
lp 12520 0
parport_pc 32100 0
parport 35080 2 lp,parport_pc

mii 5680 1 8139too
sis7019 22580 0
soundcore 9408 2 snd,sis7019
ac97_codec 18396 1 sis7019

i2c_core 21408 1 i2c_sis630
fuse 44388 0

cdrom 39424 2 sr_mod,ide_cd
ohci_hcd 20564 0
usbcore 126116 3 usbhid,ohci_hcd
--------------------------------------------------
So, the sound modules are all loaded, right?
Running Xproc for System information, it indicated
that Sis7019 PCI Audio Devic was found with Interrupt=10.
But when I opened the Sound system window of Xproc,
it was blank. Several posts show successful with sound
in Puppy 2.00 series. Any help at this point will be
much appreciated. Thanks!

sound problem with e-Box-2300 and Puppy-2.13 (Solved)

Well, Puppy-2.13 worked perfectly in my eBox-2300 with sound.
I remastered a Puppy-2.13 and this remaster version had "no
sound" problem.
