Safeguard agains trolls: does detection software exist?

#1 Post by musher0 »

Hello all.

Does detection software exist against trolls on any OS?

I would imagine it as text-based, looking for patterns? Because trolls
more or less always use the same language to:

1) destabilize and
2) intimidate users,

and /or

3) derail a thread or
4) bring it to a halt.

Thanks in advance for any leads.

If none exists, it could be an interesting project for Puppy devs.

BFN.

You my man are looking for a KILL script. While I've been told this board's a heavily cobbled throw together, the boys over on pbpBB Hacks may be able to assist, though they may have a hard time making heads or tails of our *code* tags. On a standard board, those work as they should, containing the elements within.

Ah. Thanks Semme.

Do you have an URL or reference for "the elements within"?

Code: Select all

Here, lay down like 500 consecutive chars and see how small the scrollbar gets..
You could also upload an image and give it a paragraph long description.

Check out this <scroll ^ > bizarre anomaly. Go figure..

I'll send you an enlightening link in a bit..

Oh yeah, and  hacks GALORE!

I KNEW IT, I knew that shady-slim character Semme's hacking scripts would one day takeover his computer.......how else can we explain that Vulcan-mind-melded post of his where he was luring in another poor novice user ready to drop the bomb on him?

Seriously, how in heck did a post get slammed into another person's reply???? That's sort of cool, and actually kind of scary. You mad-genius, Semme, I swear..........
