xtrkcad version 4.2.3b

Homepage http://www.xtrkcad.org
XTrackCAD is a CAD program for designing model railroad layouts.

Using it, you can:
  • Design layouts in any scale and gauge,
Use the predefined libraries for many popular brands of turnouts to help you get started easily,
    Add your own favorite components,
Manipulate track much like you would with actual flex-track to modify, extend and join tracks and turnouts,
Test your design by running trains, including picking them up and moving them with the mouse.
At any point you can print the design in a scale of your choice. When printed in 1:1 scale the printout can be used as a template for laying the track to build your dream layout.
Learning XTrackCAD is made easy with the extensive on-line help and demonstrations.

The binaries to download don't work out of the box.

There's a lot of libs missing (appr. 17mb of libs).

So, I made a 32bit .sfs file in tahr 6.0.2 to download.

Stored at datafilehost.com - it will remain at least 30 days for downloading.

Download here!

The version in PPM is 4.0.2. I downloaded 4.2.3-4 from http://www.xtrkcad.org/ to build this .sfs file for xtrkcad.

Examples to load are at: /usr/share/xtrkcad/examples

Edit:

Sorry, for the typo in the name of the 32bit .sfs.

No, but I gave my old drum kit away for free to a music store collecting instruments for refugees!

In addition to my previous post I'd built a 64bit .sfs file for xtrkcad in tahr64 6.0.5.

The version in PPM is also 4.0.2. I downloaded 64bit 4.2.3-4 from http://www.xtrkcad.org/ to build this .sfs file for xtrkcad.

Stored also at datafilehost.com - so it will remain at least 30 days for downloading as well.

Download 32bit here!

Examples to load are at: /usr/share/xtrkcad/examples

Edit:

Sorry, for the typo in the name of the 32bit .sfs.

@LazY Puppy
Thank you for feedback and upload.
I didn't download the binaries, I compiled the application from source.
Up to now I couldn't detect any kind of malfunction.

Your SFS contains additional to xtrkcad
what Slacko comes with by default and the needed packages (dependencies).
Let me know what is missing in your opinion.

When trying to execute the downloaded 4.2.3-4 it complained about a missing libwebkitgtk. So I searched for libwebkitgtk (needed to update PPM database) and downloaded the missing 1.0 version.

It downloaded 10 .deb packages for libwebkitgtk in:

tahr 6.0.2 (32bit)

libgeoclue0_0.12.99-3ubuntu1_i386.deb
libgstreamer1.0-0_1.2.4-0ubuntu1_i386.deb
libgstreamer-plugins-base1.0-0_1.2.4-1~ubuntu2_i386.deb
libharfbuzz-icu0_0.9.27-1ubuntu1.1_i386.deb
libicu52_52.1-3ubuntu0.4_i386.deb
libjavascriptcoregtk-1.0-0_2.4.10-0ubuntu0.14.04.1_i386.deb
libsecret-1-0_0.16-0ubuntu1_i386.deb
libsecret-common_0.16-0ubuntu1_all.deb
libwebkitgtk-1.0-0_2.4.10-0ubuntu0.14.04.1_i386.deb
libwebkitgtk-1.0-common_2.4.10-0ubuntu0.14.04.1_all.deb

tahr64 6.0.5 (64bit)

libgeoclue0_0.12.99-3ubuntu1_amd64.deb
libgstreamer1.0-0_1.2.4-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb
libgstreamer-plugins-base1.0-0_1.2.4-1~ubuntu2_amd64.deb
libharfbuzz-icu0_0.9.27-1ubuntu1.1_amd64.deb
libicu52_52.1-3ubuntu0.4_amd64.deb
libjavascriptcoregtk-1.0-0_2.4.10-0ubuntu0.14.04.1_amd64.deb
libsecret-1-0_0.16-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb
libsecret-common_0.16-0ubuntu1_all.deb
libwebkitgtk-1.0-0_2.4.10-0ubuntu0.14.04.1_amd64.deb
libwebkitgtk-1.0-common_2.4.10-0ubuntu0.14.04.1_all.deb

Used all those packages to create the .sfs files by using PaDS. Needed to create a .desktop file manually; the xtrkcad 4.2.3-4 .deb file doesn't contain any .desktop file.

Created the icon from the logo.bmp in /usr/share/xtrkcad.

I'd loaded some examples to look if it works, though I didn't try to create some or to modify any examples. So, I just can't say, what else could be missing...

Edit:

Sorry, for the typo in the name of the 32bit .sfs.
