1.07 for Win98: no sound in Gaim, from Soundblaster Pro

Ok so i have a windows98 pc running puppy version 1.0.7 for win98 since the others took to much mem and i only had 6mb left to run stuff. I've been trying to get my speakers to work for GAIM but there is no way to set the speakers, can someone help :?: :?: :?: PLEASE :!: :!: :!: :cry:

I wonder if Puppy loads the proper module for that sound card? If you are talking about the Turtle Beach Montego II, I think you need "snd-au8830" for your sound module. If you go to the ALSA website, they explain how to load modules for specific soundcards from Turtle Beach and other manufacturers. I think this link might help you:
