HP G250 S/N CND5398WLM: No UEFI boot

no left touchpad button. no 64 bit uefi boot from usb or hard drive.

Have you tried to do any setup with touchpad setup?

That is probably because of how the computers UEFI bios has to be setup to boot from other devices.
I have a very, very new computer.
I have to disable secure boot to even get the option to boot from USB or CD/DVD.
Other computers may require legacy boot and or disable secure boot.

Secure boot is to stop anything other than Windows from booting on the computer.

To be able to boot Linux with secure boot enabled.
Microsoft offers a way to help Linux distributions boot anyway. That’s why some modern Linux distributions–like Ubuntu and Fedora–will “just work
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected :shock:

Try Fatdog, I have had it booting with UEFI.

In addition, it may solve your touchpad issue. However, the fact that the touchpad partially works make me suspect that it may have a fault.
