uApp Explorer website for exploring snap packages

Seemingly, Xenialdog is not yet configured to manage snap packages. But for those interested to know more about them, and what is available right now in this new format, there is a website called uApp Explorer.

Searching snap is easy. You can narrow down your search to only one category or type.

Note:
For snap packages to be installed, you first need to install snapd, and to make snap packages by yourself, you need snapcraft installed.

But snap packages don't properly install in Xenialdog, as of yet. Seemingly, there is a workaround : http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic. ... 938#908938

For the curious, there are instructions for many distributions on how to install snap packages, from snapcraft.io (website snappy-playpen is deprecated, snapcraft.io replacing it) : https://snapcraft.io/docs/core/install

Final word :
Hopefully, the workaround will be an integral part of a new Xenialdog iso.
