updated to pcmanfm-1.2.3-6.sfs and pcmanfm-1.2.3.pet

Its just a recompile and proper strip, so sfs is smaller.
Also removed ancillary binary, only pcmanfm now.
Now available as a .pet file.

See edited first post for downloads.

Wow! I quite like this. Thanks! One question: does it include WebDAV support?

You're welcome.
I've no idea if it includes WebDAV. Is normal PCManFM supposed to support WebDAV? Have you tried it?
Even if it is supposed to, it may not work in this version. I know that the device stuff does not work. And I never tried to get it working. I just want to use it as a basic file manager.
The only thing I disabled in the source is the "running as root" nag. It's all there, but obviously some other stuff is missing, so not everything works.

No WebDAV or FTP support here. I'll try installing GVFS and seeing if it works.

It seems like there is no trash, computer or network support either. Ill see if I can fix it.

Having no luck whatsoever unless I make the file a monster and needlessly complicate the whole system by installing Console Kit and polkit so Udisks2 will work.

Hi Skydog007

Have you tried LxPup?? Both tahrpup and Slacko variants are available. Trash, and computer work fine. Network isn't completely integrated but yassm or pnethood open in pcmanfm.....

I have not tried Lxpup yet. I'm worrying about compatibility with my applications and the fact that it may not have as much support as normal puppy and the fact that puppy doesn't use login managers and such.

Pelo

I don't specially enjoy this FM

used to day with Linux 4.1.6 by emsee. Nothing special. I don't specially enjoy this FM. It is here by default, beside ROX-filer.
Copy and past for transfer is vintage.

Hello all.

IMO, if you need a 2nd file manager, XFE, Midnight Commander or emelFM2
are more flexible than PCManFM.
