Hi, does anyone know if Puppy supports the old Sound Blaster AWE 64 (gold) card? I like the sound of older DAC chips and I was thinking of putting together a computer for listening to music on. Thank you.

Edit: I did a search but the only threads I could find were from 10 years ago. Back then, people were saying they had issues getting these cards to work (particularly if they were ISA.) Presumably that's changed since then?

Which version of puppy would you want to find out about?

There is a possibility of finding something that works if you are not looking for a specific puppy version.

If the card will fit in the computer you're using now, plug it in and see if Puppy can use it.
