HideMyAss is providing you with script installer files.

For Linux x86 client : http://pilotfiber.dl.sourceforge.net/pr ... nux-x86.sh

For Linux x86-64 client : https://sourceforge.net/projects/oast/f ... h/download

For an easy install of openvpn and JRE environment for Mintpup, Debiandog and Xenialdog :

This software requires that the OpenVPN service and Java runtime environment are installed, make sure to install these packages prior to installing OAST:

sudo apt-get install openvpn default-jre gksu -y
(-y is for yes to all prompts)

To get the *.ovpn config profiles for the VPN servers:
•All TCP+UDP config files as .zip: http://hidemyass.com/vpn-config/vpn-config.zip
•Single TCP config files: http://hidemyass.com/vpn-config/TCP/
•Single UDP config files: http://hidemyass.com/vpn-config/UDP/

The *.ovpn profiles should be put into the folder /etc/openvpn

More info on the website. It is a good how-to with screenshots.

Have a secure browsing session.

FYI: HideMyAss does track user activity, don't trust them at all.

There comes an error message when I try to use Oast with my PIA Account. I don't know how to solve this problem.
