CRUX Linux based Puppy

#1 Post by sc0ttman »

Would it be possible to modify Woof-CE to use CRUX Linux packages?

The latest version is CRUX 3.3 and is x64 only.

CRUX is a Linux for advanced users, and the installation process involves recompiling the whole OS from scratch, using only a few commands. The install disk contains all the source packages required to build the OS.

CRUX uses a BSD like ports system, with similar build scripts. There are many additional (user contributed) repos available for CRUX (see here). Overall the package selection is decent.

For more info on CRUX, see the CRUX 3.3 Handbook or the Wiki..
