Latest-compiled-32bit Openssl-1.0.2l-i686.pet

#1 Post by belham2 »

Hi all,

If anyone's interested, I compiled the latest openssl version (1.0.2l-May-2017) in slacko 5.7-usingSailor's latest creation and also his accompanying devx (in this thread: "http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=110851.

As I used the general compile parameters of "--prefix=/usr" and "--openssldir=/etc/ssl", this pet should work across a wide range of 32-bit pups---I've currently stuck it in my wary, slackos (5.7) and tahrs (don't try it for dog-varieties and also barry's creations). If worried, just extract the pet, then install it manually the old-fashioned way & you'll easily see where everything went/goes.

Here's the link with the openssl-1.0.2l-i686.pet and its md5/sha256sums file. Hope it helps anyone out there:

Here's the md5/sha256sums for those of who are still in, haha, the dark ages & don't have Libreoffice in your pups and/or pup-derivatives:
