Bugs in Slacko Puppy 6.999 (FF, Abi)
In Czech version of Slacko Puppy, the default Czech keyboard is QWERTZ, but more practical is QWERTY with extended backslash, because the Y is in the same position like in English layout. So, I have been trying to set QWERTY layout variant with extended backslash (which I use for years). First attempt shows window with „Success” in it, but it was not really successful, because the layout stayed QWERTZ. After second attempt the layout is changed right to QWERTY. Every time, the first attempt is never successful. The setting QWERTY with extended backslash is not saved after Shut Down and in every new session, it must be set again (always twice). These bugs are not present e.g., in LxPupXenial.
Under installer LICK, the boot of Slacko 6.999 stops at the point: recognizing (or checking - I do not remember exactly) of optical devices - small characters (LG DVD ROM is on my comp). This bug is not present in LxPupXenial and also it is not present in earlier beta version of Slacko (I think 6.996).
Anyway, I like Slacko Puppy very much, I use it every day and it fulfill all what I need for common usage.
Thank you for such good work.
