I have a bit of web server space available and much of it isn't being used.

How can I go about becoming a puppy linux mirror for dotpups and stuff like that ?

I don't want to host ISO cause that'll make me reach my server limits quickly.

Thanks

Dotpups.de currently offers around 3 gigabyte of programs, and puppyfiles.org will be able to offer a nearly unlimited amount.
To mirror such a server, you would need a second host of that size.
I currently don't work on such a "real" mirror.

We often (wrongly) use the term "mirror" for different repositories.

For example Klh hosts some dotpups, that are not found at dotpups.de.

You could do something like that, too.

You would need a folder /dotpups (in future, this can have a different name like "/packages").

Then you need a indexfile like this:
http://dotpups.de/dotpups/dotpups.txt

Code:
'http://yourURL.org/dotpups/categoryfolder/file.pup' "title" (size) \

Then someone who can edit the wiki, must add the location of this file to the mirror-list in the Wiki.
http://puppylinux.org/wikka/MirrorsList
This list is used by PSI.
Alternatively in the "PSI" (external Puppy Software Installer"), the user could add the URL of this file manually.

If your webspace does not support directory-listings, but PHP, you could use this script (in every folder), to allow users to navigate through your repository with a webbrowser:
http://dotpups.de/dotpups/Internet/index.php.txt
