If your mouse freezes try this

http://www.linux-usb.org/usb.ids

Sometimes you install a new OS and after a while your mouse freezes.

It may be that your usb.ids file is outdated. You find this file in /var/lib/usbutils/usb.ids

Download usd.ids file (latest version is 2017.02.12) and copy paste it in place of the outdated file.

Or you can try upgrade usbutils (for Dog-based OS).

Reboot and pull your mouse USB dongle and reinsert it.

Hopefully, your mouse won't freeze anymore.
