Need libsigc-2.0.so.0 for rtorrent.

#1 Post by mike »

please forgive me if this has been covered, but does puppy have libsigc-2.0.so.0?

i'm trying to put rtorrent (an ncurses based bittorrent client) together, and it says that it needs libsigc-2.0.so.0.

(that's a link, right?)

is there a list of dependencies that are contained in Puppy? or have i completely missed something...

Don't sweat it: There is already a torrent DotPup. Look for that package and many other goodies at the user's contributed DotPup's wiki page.

i don't see it on the dotpup pages
i just uploaded a libsigc-2.0.so.0 that might work with Puppy (or not) ... i think it requires libstdc++.so.6 too

yes indeed, i couldn't find it either... but am a little tired anyway, i've been chasing dependencies down for what feels like hours (wait, it HAS been hours) and with every step forward, there's another dependencie problem.

thanks for you're help, I'll look at libsigc-2.0.so.0, who knows, maybe it'll work.
