That brings up the program you can use to change the kernel.
Very important to read the program help and understand what it is saying!!!
You will have to download a new kernel to use.
The program has a kernel button that takes you to the location in the Puppy repository where there are kernel packages to choose from.

But do not do this thinking it is really needed.
If everything is working OK.
THERE IS NO REAL REASON TO CHANGE THE KERNEL!!!!!!!!!!!

The biggest thing a newer kernel will do is provide hardware drivers, that may not be in the kernel you now have.
Support for really new hardware.
If all the hardware is working OK.
You already have the correct drivers.
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected

Thanks for the direction. One always has in their mind that the latest kernels are the best.

So I will take you advise and stay where I am at, everything works fine as advertised.
