Gordie gave this link...might be the culprit.

I remember doing this on someone's Win 8.1 laptop to get it booting.
Use Control Panel settings.

I saw this on Majorgeeks.

NTLite -all-in-one Windows customization tool with options for modifying and removing unnecessary components from the standard distribution of Windows.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/

A safe download site.

This version untested by me, although I have used previous versions.

Nlite.

" Integrate updates, drivers, automate Windows and application setup, speedup Windows deployment process and have it all set for the next time.

Reduce footprint

Optionally remove Windows components, simplify your installation, reduce attack vectors and free up drive space.

Linux reader .exe in my tool case For test.
what use ? to listen my songs stored on DD partition ext3 with windows high quality and Dolby system. Puppy can access to songs stored HDD NTFS windows 7 partition.
No brexit.

I don't see why i should hate Windows as some people fond of Linux do. I use Puppy Linux because it's an OS very efficient. But audio by Windows if much better.

Hack Windows 10 Login Password In 2 Minutes
[Works For All Windows Versions

http://www.hackcave.net/2015/10/hack-windows-10-login-password-in-2.html

Before you rename those files....
create a new folder and copy those files into that folder first.

Always better to have a backup plan.

Hirens and Falcon boot cds all had reset capability.

There are newer boot discs but I haven't bothered.

From MajorGeeks....a trusted site.
You need to have a valid license (or key) for whichever edition you install.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/news/story/windows_10_no_bloatware_edition_strips_windows_10_down_to_the_basics.html

Windows 10 Pro No Bloatware Edition 32-Bit 16299.19 1709

http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/windows_10_pro_no_bloatware_edition_32_bit.html

link in the same Major Geeks page from the author.
Also has a link for 64 bit isos.

http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/windows-10-nobloatware-edition.810557/

and this is how they do it.

MSMG ToolKit 7.9

“ MSMG ToolKit creates a slimmed down, or bloat free Windows by customizing, adding or removing features and components as well as enabling or disabling features to Microsoft Windows 7, 8 and 10. “

http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/msmg_toolkit.html

Untested by me...use at your own risk.

I saw this on Whirlpool posted by >>brettule

OS drive encrypted from factory?

http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=2708250

" I've noticed that the HPs and Dells I've seen shipped with Win10
preinstalled are now coming pre-encrypted with bitlocker enabled.

The user has no idea their drive is encrypted and equally no idea what
the decryption key is.

A user wanted me to recover some data off a drive failing to boot
which obviously I can't. If the OS was running and I could log into
Win10 could I recover or change the key or must I decrypt first
then re-encrypt with a new key? "

""""

CAMS states it nicely.

" I suggest drive encryption loses more data that it protects, I see
its purpose but it should be an option. "

I noticed on Majorgeeks today

5 Bootable ISO's to Boot and Repair Your Computer for Free

http://www.majorgeeks.com/content/page/5_bootable_isos_to_boot_and_repair_your_computer_for_free.html

I have already mentioned >>>Sergei Strelec's WinPE for Windows
which I have still not tested.

I did try this >>

https://www.aioboot.com/en/

with which you can add WinPE 10 with PEStartup to AIO Boot.

Quite honestly a bit awkward when you boot it as you are in read only mode
and can't add files to your usb or delete some files in Windows.

I can't boot Puppy off it yet, and I may ask later here as to how to add Puppy to Grub2.

"""""""""

But I am now downloading a newer Hirens.
Hoping for a bit more simplicity and usefulness.

https://www.hirensbootcd.org/

https://www.hirensbootcd.org/about/

"Since the new version delayed too much, as the fans of Hiren’s BootCD we have
decided to develop a new Windows 10 x64 PE BootCD including the best
tools of Hiren’s BootCD updated with today’s needs.

Hiren’s BootCD PE is being developed by the fans of Hiren’s BootCD (hirensbootcd.org).
Hiren’s BootCD PE is 64 bit and UEFI supported. We decide to continue developing
it only in 64 bit version. Hiren’s BootCD PE is being developed for the new age
computers. Hiren’s BootCD PE does not contain any malicious software and it does not contain any pirated software.
It is 100% safe, free and legal to use."

""""""""

Unfortunately not a patch on the older Hirens or Falcon boot disks.

The usb booting hangs for over a minute, no messages about waiting,
just a Windows logo.....
and finally it loads.

Didn't they look at the old version to see that you knew it was loading.
No Zero, zilch, nothing. Clumsy.
You wonder if it is working as you frustratingly wait.

From their site...
" Please note that, we recommend USB booting for Windows PE editions.
Booting from DVD may cause waiting long time on the Windows logo screen in some computers.
If booting takes 8 – 10 minutes, please try booting from USB."

::::

The Network wasn't found, so I tried to load the Asus Lan drivers setup, but I had to give it
3 tries loading different parts of the Asus setup file to get it working.

I may yet report this as a fault to the site.

:::

I can't get the inbuilt Ccleaner to work and the file manager still refuses
to delete some files, come on. Puppy is just so useful compared to this.

It's quite possible that I can edit the Grub 2 menu so I could boot older
versions of the above boot cds.
This was the easier part of the older discs because they had a menu.lst,
so once you got the hang of it you could add numerous
Puppies to the menu on the same usb.

So someone will have to explain how to fix this to me.
I will probably post elsewhere about this menu problem.

Why Windows 10 is so awful and spies on you.

Started my day on Whirlpool forums and said to myself that I must get a Windows 10 computer and enjoy the MicroSlop experience
with Cortana.

As in...

Opened laptop to find mouse moving & programs open

CAMS mentions...LTSB

https://www.howtogeek.com/273824/windows-10-without-the-cruft-windows-10-ltsb-explained/

Microsoft Doesn’t Want You Using Windows 10 LTSB

" Unofficially, any Windows user can get Windows 10 LTSB if they want.

Microsoft offers ISO images with Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB
as part of its 90-day Enterprise evaluation program.

You can download the ISO file–be sure to select “Windows 10 LTSB”
instead of “Windows 10” when downloading–and install it on your own PC.

It’ll function normally for 90 days, after which it’ll begin nagging you to activate Windows and your PC will shut down every hour, according to Microsoft.

You can, however, use Slmgr to “rearm” the trial for another 90 days,
and according to some users, this works up to three times, for a total of nine months."

How to Use Slmgr to Change, Remove, or Extend Your Windows License

Slmgr may or may not achieve this after all.
But someone will have a fix.

New word! Laughing

Now it needs an official definition.
1. Software that will render your computer terminally ill.
