Setup or bios utility

#1 Post by scsijon »

Keep an eye out for the latest Phoenix SecureCore Technology Setup package.

It's basically a "bios" upgrade and well worth having.

It's got a couple of updated / new settings:

1- under Configuration there is now USB Legacy (turn it on and you can use msdos Configured USB Devices on your system to start it).

2- under Boot you can alter "Boot Mode" to 'Legacy Support', and connect your old msdos drives.

3- And, if you do change it you get "Boot Priority" which can be now set to either 'UEFI First' or 'Legacy First", which allows you to connect Legacy drives and devices and have them run before the uefi devices (ie your internal drive).
