One small step towards a world without phishing
Called WebAuthn, the new open standard is currently supported in the latest version of Firefox, and will be supported in upcoming versions of Chrome and Edge slated for release in the next few months.

Already been banging people on the their heads about FIDO, the technology for webauthn. The term webauthn is nothing but a marketing name for FIDO. My sensitive email has been unbreachable for nearly 2 years---this is what (cough, cough) goofballs use at NSA and other national agencies. Even the email/browser provider can't see in it because they don't have the physical key that backs FIDO. They/we try, but we still can't crack the dumb thing:
