Try this:

There is a script file in /startup/disabled called:

keyboardlayoutfix.

You just drag that to the startup folder.

Does that fix it?

Very nice for wanting to help me, but I'm not an IT specialist and I can not handle it. Can you write my algorithm step by step.
Thanks!

Open the Rox file manager by left mouse click on the desktop file icon.
That will open to the root directory (folder).
You should see a startup directory.
Left click on the startup directory to open it.
You should see a disabled directory.
Left click on the disabled directory to open it.
Should see keyboardlayoutfix file.

KEEP THAT ROX WINDOW OPEN.

Left click on the desktop file icon to open another Rox window. Again it is showing root directory.
You should see the startup directory.

NOW WITH TWO ROX WINDOWS OPEN.

DO you Know How to Drag and Drop in a file manager????????????

Now you are going to drag and drop from one Rox window to the other Rox window.

Left click and hold on the keyboardlayoutfix file.
Drag it to the other Rox window and drop it on the startup folder.
A popup will ask if you want to copy or move.
Select move.

Now if you open the startup directory the keyboardlayoutfix file should be in it.

Close the Rox windows and reboot.

Open a file. Coming out:
archive, initrd, mnt, sbin, and so on. I do not know which folder is the startup directory or which directory is disabled.

I have completed your instructions. In the Startup folder a Keboardlautfix folder appeared. But it is the same again. After restarting, I need to re-tune the keyboard 105, tongue, layout, and layout keys. Unfortunately,

PostPosted: Today, at 03:39    Post subject: xenialpup-does not remember keyboard shortcuts

Hello! I went back to XenialPup64-7,5uefi again and he still does not remember the keyboard layouts. I have applied your algorithm but it does not work. Where am I wrong?
Please if you can help! I apply a photo that shows the picture after my experience.
Thanks in advance!

This topic seems to me in the wrong section of the forum.
Anyway,

Example for dvorak-r (from another thread):

from the menu > Setup > Mouse/keyboard Wizard
-- Layout for your country > dvorak-r
-- Advanced configuration > OK > Layout Variants > 10: dvorak-r > OK > Yes > Exit
Important not to forget the final Yes !!! OK and Yes

Another thread about this here:
