i've been trying Azureus 2.3.0.0 in Puppy
it's a bit bloated (it uses Java 1.5.0_03, which is about 84 megs), a bit slow
ctorrent is about 64k
if you use busybox's ash, you need to edit the start script a bit before it will run, and when you first run it, you may need to restart it a few times ... it runs ok with bash
the first time i ran it, it started using a lot of ram and most of the swap partition, and slowed Puppy down a lot ... i tweaked the options a bit, and it's been running reasonably well
the SafePeer plugin doesn't seem to work well ... when it's installed, my cpu use goes up to 99% when i open the Azureus options window
it seems to be useable though
this version of Azureus has distributed tracking, which shares information with other users, so if the tracker is down, you can still download using the torrent
and Azureus still has a built in tracker, so you can host your own torrents

ctoorent should be workin with puppy , yes ?
ctorrent seems to work ok in Puppy
i found it would not work downloading to a vfat partition, but the Custom ctorrent version may work on a vfat drive (i haven't tried it)
it doesn't have a built in tracker like Azureus does
it can make torrent files
if you use the right commandline options (for example, the default upload speed may be too low and limit your download speed) it seems to download as fast as any torrent client
anyway, they are all available as dotpups
