I have an old i5 32bit pc, 3.2GHz with 2GB RAM. I have a wifi mini keyboard and the capture device in usb ports-no easy way of knowing if 1.1 or 2.0. Win7 doesn't say. Cannot get into bios to configure boot order-no menu displayed-just straight into win7 prof. so can't load puppy via usb. Prob need wired kbrd to do that or live cd? When in windows, the captured image has "s" lines in the lower 1/3 of screen, thin, light and many across the screen. Recording doesn't change them no report or obvious dropped frames, wondering if bus power supply overloaded or too slow? How to tell? What puppy software will drive this device and allow recordings as mp4? I have abt 100 VHS tapes to transfer. I don't want to use my new hp 64bit computer to do this, tho' it definitely would. It would be at risk of overheating unless I put it on a special table, which would then be in my way. Money is tight again. ideas pls?

There has to be a way to get into BIOS

Try hitting the <Delete> key multiple times when you turn on the computer.
Then try the F1 through F12 keys doing the same.
Then try <Esc> doing the same
Then try <Ctrl> <Shift> doing the same
Then try <Ctrl> <Alt> <Shift> doing the same

etc. etc. etc.

What kind of computer does windows say it is?
I think windows system information should have some useful info
for system manufacturer to google BIOS access.

.
