Need HTML Editor for 32-bit Tahrpup 6.0.5

#1 Post by SolusUmbra »

Not sure if this should be listed under Internet or Documents but I'll place it here and see how it goes.
I'm looking for an HTML editor program for tahrpup 6.0.5 32bit.
Thanks

Mozilla Composer is the html editor. I don't see it listed separately in the repository,
so it must be included with seamonkey browser.
SeaMonkey, the community-driven successor to Mozilla Suite, includes an HTML editor named Composer that is developed from the Mozilla Composer code contained in the original Mozilla Suite.[1]

It's not what you'd call a light program, and it has some quirks, but you might try Arachnophilia. It's a Java application, so it runs on anything you can install a Java interpreter on. I use it with Lucid, Precise, and Tahr. Just do a web search for it.

Hello all.

To call kompozer directly, in console you type

Code: Select all

seamonkey -edit
Someone may want to make that into a *.desktop file.
