The attached .pet contains flimp & dcraw. Run via flimp in a console.

Plus the developer has an image utility program, pnmcurve, to add tone curves to pnm images. To use this utility install the attached pnmvurve .pet, plus the required gsl libraries .pet (647kbytes)

In addition, to use Imagemagick functions, such as convert, or Netpbm functions like pamscale etc, you'll need to install Imagemagick & Netpbm separately.

ImageMagick is available from this location, or from here (1991kbytes)

The full Netpbm is available from either netpbm-10.26.53-i486.pet or netpbm-10.26.53-i486.pet (1308kbytes)

Dear muggins,

I have compiled flimp myself, but can't get that prog to display decent xft (antialiased) fonts. Do you have any suggestions? I set up my fltk 1.3 with xft, so I don't know what the problem is, but all fltk stuff - including fluid - comes out looking ugly as sin. I know that John Murga's fluid binary looks fine, so he is doing something very correctly and I am not.

With kind regards,
vovchik

PS. Thanks for flimp...it saves me from writing many IM bash scripts.

@Dingo,

My mistake. I think your problems with the ibiblio .pet is that puppy already contains the cutdown netpbm package. Unfortunately, the cutdown netpbm puppy package is missing some of the image processing utilities used by flimp. e.g. if you try and crop an image, it's using pamcut. I forgot that I'd already installed the full netpbm, so of course it was working for me! Anyway, I've added a link above for the full Netpbm .pet.

@Vovchik,

didn't we have a similar problem with an fltk printer front-end? Maybe we need to ask John Murga how he's doing it.

Yes, the netpbm package from ibiblio is already in Puppy. It is a cutdown version of netpbm. As it is already built-in to Puppy, it is not offered by PETget.
