Iguleder wrote:Hey guys, you really should try the new Flash 10.2 beta. It's great - my Q2 2010 netbook can play 720p video smoothly with it (it's an Intel 3150 accelerator, i915 driver)!

What a difference! I still can't scroll smoothly or do any heavy stuff while Youtube HD videos play, but they're smooth - previously I had one frame in 2-5 seconds. And fullscreen works perfectly, it's smooth too! First Puppy to have this :D
You are teasing us! It's not yet in your new Repo ...

I think everything is in place, I'm waiting for Barry to upload a new Woof so I can build 002. Got 10 days till my army duty and I want to do this in 4-5 days.

I just need to test the new kernel and make a nvidia PET.

Hi iguleder,

You might want to use the newer xbindkeys-config, as yours has the help-menu-bug.

Noticed this bug yesterday, wanted to hack it :)

I'm trying to build a 002 with the current Woof and 2.6.35.9 (no ndiswrapper) ... there is a good chance that the multimedia stack is screwed up, many packages were updated and dependencies changed a lot.

The e3 family of editors segfaults in Insidious

#113 Post by superchook »

As per the title. On this box when running Insidious I got segfaults with both e3ne and e3vi. Has anyone else noticed this?

cheers,
Ken

Why doesn't Insidious recognize skype217.sfs?

It does not give an error, it simply ignores it.

EDIT: I clicked directly on the SFS and it said that it was the older v3 and needed to be the newer v4 and to use the VersionConverter in Utility -- but there is no VersionConverter in the Utility section of the Insidious Menu.

Was the intentionally deleted?

How does one perform a version conversion of a SFS in Insidious, please?

EDIT2: I found and downloaded the "static" Beta SFS of SKYPE. It works but keeps crashing. Anyone have a stable SKYPE they have tested in Insidious?

ALSO: Puppy PackageManager comes up with no Repo's loaded by default. I loaded the 3 SID Repos and they still come up empty.

Iguleder, I hope you aren't near that fire in Israel.

Is there an "insidious app" that allows one to search for specific text strings in a PDF file?

Hi,

Doesn't your PDF program allow searches? Mine does.

My regards

I am having trouble with the Flash install. I want to listen to JazzRadio.com but it requires the Flash player. I followed a link and installed the .DEB for Ubuntu 8.04. It went through all the motions, and it shows up in the package manager, but I still get requested to install it when I go to the JazzRadio page.

Tried to install a different version from PPM, but got the "Oh Dear" messages.

(Frugal Install)
