I've been waiting to see which version would win out to become Puppy5 before issuing any new puplets. But I think I will only be issuing barebones puplets from now on. People can add on what they want with .pets, .debs, .sfs's (with SFS-TCZ_Linker of course), etc.

I've even thought the answer might be to issue a few files that will allow people to build up their own version using woof. Kind of like a recipe. Woof is really easy to use once you get past the first few setup steps.

We'll see, I think Puppy has an exciting future.

Cheers, J

Please do
This is how puplets developed.
The first time I tried to create a puplet it was difficult.
Now it so easy a penguin could do it.

Whatever you decide... thank you in advance!

This would be very cool, and appreciated.

Actually if you need more prepared files in order to create sfs files, here:
http://download.igelle.com/igelle/dsv/1.0/sources/
are all the sources of the open source linux files that the Igelle people used to build Igelle.

And here:
http://download.igelle.com/igelle/dsv/1.0/i686/apps/
are all application files already packed as sfs files with all dependencies in them (don't know though if they differ from the ones Puppy uses).
Also here:
http://download.igelle.com/igelle/dsv/1 ... s/sources/
are the sources of the apps.
