I'm going to put a lock on this thread but let it stand as an example of why we should never discuss religion. In my view klh invited the attacks; they would not have happened had he not been so aggressive about expressing his religious beliefs in the forum. I was actually surprised by how long the discussion remained restrained.

Whoever is responsible, and I think everyone who joined in shares some of the blame, the discussion has turned poisonous and is now hurting the forum.
