ok I think that the problem is in the xorg server 1.3.0 because with the xorg server 1.4.2 (the same that use Debian Lenny) with the via or openchrome drivers works fine , not crash or fail , works stable. I mean crash when I playing a video and minimize the window and when I maximize again the system crash and goes to command pront.

Installed Firefox (liveCD) but it didn't appear in Menu, even after logging out and xwin back again. But it works from the console. Anyone else? Apologies if it's a known 'feature' or previously reported.

Sage,
Thanks for reporting that, I will fix the package so that it has a menu entry.

So is the stability problem only occurring with mplayer, when you minimise/maximise a video window?

Do you minimise/maximise when video is playing?

Not only with Mplayer is in general with any player that used with xv driver . And is when is playing or paused. WIth X11 driver its stable and not crash with minimise/maximise a video window. But x11 its not scalable.
Also I had try the xorg vesa and feels faster (off course not compare in image quality but..). I dont know why but the xorg vesa driver plays flash online videos faster (I mean not too many freezing's ) .
