Thanks watchdog. It does seem to depend on libgnome-keyring, which isn't found in the Fatdog64 repos. You probably manually installed the missing dependency from one of these packages. Here's the deb control file:

If libgnome-keyring is required by later releases of skypeforlinux beta install this one:

Hi Step, Smokey and all,

I have a question or really more of a personal request: Fatdog64 rules our home laptops, so whenever the family and I go somewhere, it is FD64 that comes with us (mainly because FD64 is the best for our laptop's various wireless setups, and works the best with any wireless setups we come across outside the home).

When I am at home, I am able to use Phil's Tahr64 and/or (lately) XenialPUP64 to play both "Dreamchess" and "IQPuzzle". Both games I (and a few of my family members) are addicted to, but when we go away, we end up leaving them behind & missing them.

I have searched, read through the forums, and such, and even tried to convert Oscar's Wheezy Dreamchess and various IQPuzzle setups (in diff pups) into package(s) that will work on FD64. I fail every time. I've not had success with anything I've tried.

Does anyone have a package of either of IQPuzzle and/or Dreamchess that'll work on FD64? Or maybe could possibly use their greater skill and/or knowledge in making a FD64 package of these two games? Thank you for any consideration of this. If there's one thing or area I wish FD64 could have more ooomph in, it is the games department, basically the mental challenge games (not the shoot'em up kind)... :)

No problem. This version finally fixes all issues I had with clipboard. Previously there was a 'crash' bug mentioned here: https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42009#c17 (comment #17)

01micko has created an sfs of google-earth-pro, get it below:
http://distro.ibiblio.org/puppylinux/pe ... x86_64.sfs
To make it work in Fatdog64-710 a symlink needs to be created.

In a terminal type:

Code: Select all

cd into /lib64
then type:

Code: Select all

ln -sf ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 /lib64/ld-lsb-x86-64.so.3

I made this package to open HTML files as root or spot user

Instructions : right click on HTML file in ROX filer

Note there is a fake .gz extension that has to be removed after download.

Note that you can't have Seamonkey open as both root and spot user
(you get a warning message)

Greetings!

Hi SFR,

I didn't even see this until yesterday. Thank you for giving this a go! Unfortunately, I cannot get your fatdog64-contrib iqpuzzle.txz (uploaded 18-19 April) to run in any of my Fatdog64-710 laptop installs. Did it actually run in your Fatdog64-710?

I even tried your iqpuzzle.txz file you uploaded in Micko's new Slacko64-700b3 and in Peebee's new LxPup64-17.05 (based on Slacko64-700b3), and Iqpuzzle wouldn't run in either of them either. (discussed here: http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 197#955197

I will try again compiling iqpuzzle from it's github source, but this time do it in Slacko64-700b3 and see if that makes a difference getting it to run in both Fatdog64 and Slacko64-versions. When I tried to compile it in Fatdog64 many weeks ago, the compiled-result wouldn't run/start---which is exactly the same result I encountered with your iqpuzzle.1.0.4.txz uploaded to fatdog-contrib on 18-19 April. Maybe the game cannot be run in Fatdogs or Slackos??

Thanks again.

Yep, I even checked it on a fresh install (no savefile), so all deps are there for sure.
Any messages when you launch it from terminal (the command is: iqpuzzle)?

Here are some random packages:

mono-4.8.0.495-x86_64…Bo.tgz
avahi-0.6.31-x86_64-1_SBo.tgz
libgdiplus-4.2-x86_64-1…Bo.tgz
dulwich-0.9.0-x86_64-1…Bo.tgz
spawn-fcgi-1.6.4-x86_6…Bo.tgz
synergy-1.7.6-x86_64-1_SBo.tgz

I built these a while ago in fatdog710 beta. The extension looks right. Let me know if there any problems and I'll remove and or rebuild the file.

I didn't compile avachi with all it's options. The options I used are as follows

Code: Select all

./configure \
  --prefix=/usr \
  --libdir=/usr/lib${LIBDIRSUFFIX} \
  --sysconfdir=/etc \
  --localstatedir=/var \
  --mandir=/usr/man \
  --docdir=/usr/doc/$PRGNAM-$VERSION \
  --enable-tests \
  --disable-static \
  --disable-monodoc \
  --disable-autoipd \
  --enable-python-dbus \
  --enable-pygtk\
  --enable-glib \
  --enable-dbus \
  --enable-python \
  --enable-gtk \
  --enable-gtk3 \
  --enable-qt4 \
  --disable-qt3 \
  --enable-core-docs \
  --enable-compat-howl \
  --enable-compat-libdns_sd \
  --with-dbus-sys=/etc/dbus-1/system.d \
  --with-avahi-user=avahi \
  --with-avahi-group=avahi \
  --with-avahi-priv-access-group=netdev \
  --with-distro=slackware \
  --program-prefix= \
  --program-suffix= \
  --build=$ARCH-slackware-linux \
  $MONO
Slackbuild file attached.

@s243a Downloading from any of the links stops asking for a dropbox password.
