Hi All

Exciting news Puppy Linux 5.28 Fully Loaded is now completed, I am just installing from iso to my PC now. Sporting every type of application you could want from the get go it is designed for users who just want to download the Operating system and go, all the software you will need is pre installed. Fully updated you will find the following software pre-installed just add your account details to use.

Google Chrome 13 web browser with Java/Flash pre installed, this is perfect for full integration with GMail, Google doc's etc, as well as games, GoToMyPc and youtube type sites.

Latest versions of Skype & Pidgin for all your Chat needs.

TelNet Client for all your Remote Desktop With Windows.

Gimp is installed for all your image needs.

SongBird is installed for all your music needs

DropBox is installed just add your account details

GTK Recordmydesktop is installed for making screencasts etc

Full Live help chat from the desktop via xchat

Abiword for your Word Processing needs

GNumeric for your spreadsheet needs

I figure with this release being so INet friendly the user will use either Google Docs or Windows Live for their online office software which means offline is not required, however user can install a full office suite of their choice should they require it.

I hope to god i have not missed anything and you can find a full guide and download links on my YouTube Site.

Downloaded twice.

Fails to finish booting.

Downloads matched each other.
Burnt to rewritable cd.

Then tried usb.
Same result.

I suspect that the upload was faulty.
Anyone else had a similar issue.

" due to a family issue "
And with all due respect Icyos, I would understand that family
comes first mate.

Unhappy campers are second in line.

Regards and best wishes....Chris.

Hello Icyos,
Firstly I hope your father is making a good recovery and I wish him well.

Naturally his welfare is your first priority but I was wondering if you could let us know if you intend to resume work on RexBang in the future or if you have decided not to continue. It did seem an interesting project.

Best wishes

Hi Yes of course I will stay with the project as I am the only child my parents need me at the mo, however my youtube site and my list of stuff to do are as big as ever and when I am able to resume belive me I will.

I am also working on a Puppy Linux Lucid version designed for all your social and internet needs which is light but uses the internet for all its applications based around Google, or Windows Live. My first release is available on my Youtube Site and I will aim to develop this release to the max for people who want full functionality without the builk.
