That Chrome plays should be enough for the moment. Your FPlayer's old though..

Pfind didn't return the file because, if you notice.. you have *choices* upon where  to search.

Choose *system* and you'll see..

You're implying that I can watch "everything" on Chrome. I hope that's true ... but I don't know that it is.

.

Au contraire. I did choose "system". And then, when that find found nothing, I chose "all files".

Not @ all. If the sites you visit play- fine. If not- break open a new thread or *upgrade* to a current build.

As for Pfind- perhaps throw that old dog  a fresh bone..

Hi

Puppeee uses chrome so that calls on libgcflashplayer.so which is in something like :

/opt/google/chrome/

If you pfind looking for flash it's easier.

That said, I'm looking for a way to update the flashplayer for my puppeee...

The getflash pet creates errors when the orange download screen kicks off (and I have to emergency reboot). So I'm guessing it's only compatible for non chrome browsers (probable needs a warning attached).

I love puppeee but some sites are asking for flash 10.2 whereas puppeee came with chrome and 10.1...?

How can I manually update the gc version of the player for chrome ?

Thanks
Arfon

You need to make sure you are using the latest Getflash program.
Not to long ago Adobe moved download location and older versions of Getflash would fail.
Getflash 1.1

The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected
