I trust him, i will buy one for my laptop Acer aspire 1654 (2004) because the internal mini PCI cards with WPA-compatible Intel 2200BG. are not so efficient (no wireless even with windows XP (my daughter's computer).
Anybody knows if this is compatible with Puppy (less expensive) :

I would need the chip or device ID number to be able to tell you anything. I can't seem to find anything useful concerning this particular brand and model other than this page, indicating a similar or identical adapter as having a Realtek chipset. I can't find anything on Wikidevi or Passy's concerning CSL, whom I'm assuming is the manufacturer.
Is this the adapter here?
EDIT: This model appears to be Linux compatible.
