It might be under subdirectory hdhomerun_config_gui/src

and run

#./hdhomerun_config_gui
try using

Code: Select all

#locate hdhomerun_config_gui
to find the file

Combined with VLC it's a winner!

Let me summarize where you are at now.

You installed a hdhomerun pet using Puppy Package Manager(PPM)

You are using hdhomerun GUI to play TV channels thru VLC.

You are now only interested in upgrading to the next version of hdhomerun firmware.

I really need to get more sleep ... I just noticed your hilarious screen name!

Yes, sir, on point that is what I'd like to do ... although I just upgraded to a newer version of Raring, from 3.9.9.1 to 3.9.9.2 and so I suppose I could try installing the newer version from scratch.

However, it seems that a packaged version would make good sense so that version upgrades to the OS don't require complete reinstalls of the app.

WDYT?
