Evil20071 wrote:Bug fix for the theme defaults:

Open /root/.gtkrc-2.0

Replace "Phacile-Blue" in line 2 with "Stardrops". This will change the default theme to Stardrops.

You should end up with this:

Code: Select all

# -- THEME AUTO-WRITTEN DO NOT EDIT
include "/usr/share/themes/Stardrops/gtk-2.0/gtkrc"

include "/root/.gtkrc.mine"

# -- THEME AUTO-WRITTEN DO NOT EDIT
Booted from the Live CD and tested it out. That file is the config for the default theme. I changed it the normal way with the GTK Theme chooser in my full install in Virtual box and that was the difference in the two files. ;)

Should be able to replace it with that info and then reboot and it have stardrops as the default theme.
I knew that it was the fix when i did a test on the live-cd.

it's an oversight when i remastered. kinda like the background.

let me know if the new Xorg will fix the issue.

Will do. Downloading the Xorg server X11R7.4 (Current stable release) and will compile it once it's done.

i looked for it but all i could find was ttuuxxx's idea, and that does not work with the downloader system.

a link to the petget you found would be good.

i've been working with opera and while it's light, its having issues with flash player 10.

I might try to build a FireLassie using ff3 and some addons.

then test how well that would work.

Bug or lack of inclusion?

Menu > Fun = blank? Fixmenus and still blank? I just noticed it...

Restarted JWM.. still blank...

and I STILL can't find the right libs for Mesa GL's config script... and I STILL can't get the libdrm-2.4.3 or 2.3.1 to compile... I am stuck... Help?

Also, the libdrm in 4.1.2... it's 2.3.0 just like in what we're using now.... Odd much?

PS: I thought about it, and decided to provide the tar.gz of both Mesa GL AND libdrm-2.3.1 (Minimum) and libdrm 2.4.3 source packages. I'll let you see if you can compile any of them? See thread: X11R7.5 Requirements

Put them on my forum due to filesize restrictions here.

Ok guys first and last time I'm helping here is the package you needed
First you needed to compile pthreads-stubs and then libdrm
next to compile messa you'll need xdamage but the fun part about that is its part of xorg and you have download the Xorg to compile it, very large but you'll get all the latest files like libpng, Glu, Messa, and tons of others its around 380MB extracted before you even start compiling.
Use this in your terminal
$ cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@cvs.freedesktop.org:/cvs/xorg login

CVS password: <hit return>

$ cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@cvs.freedesktop.org:/cvs/xorg co -r DAMAGE-XFIXES xc

now I'm gone

glad ttuuxxx could help.

and also, the lack of fun in this, is because i removed the entries and most of the fun progras.

i plan to replace some of them with better games which are hopefully lighter.

and i till can't get oera to work with flash :?

well... i'm glad that wow was working on xorg.

i'll try that out.
