Yes, the forum was down for about 6 hours today. John Murga fixed it. That's all I know about it.

Hello mods/admins.
Strange but I'm not receiving info (e-mail) about new posts in topics I'm 'watching'. It all started two days ago when I wasn't able to view forum pages for almost 12 hours.
I'm pretty sure that was not a problem with my ISP because everything else was fine, torrenting included.

Was down for me for a while too -- and now I'm getting the occasional error message on submitting (smack me, I didn't write it down!)...

I get an error message when I post as well, however the posting
is successful. Every thing else is okay.

Same here... it gives an error... phantom or otherwise, it seems to work anyways.

The forum was out of action for some hours Sunday. John said it was some kind of hosting issue. Give it a few days for the confusion to clear up.

Symptoms make me think either they transferred us to a different server box and it didn't go smoothly, or a hard drive somewhere barfed up a lung.

Oh course if an administrator or moderator announced the problem and the fix, we would not have to be asking each other if the forum was down.

I have no idea why the forum went down today. All I know is, I couldn't get on it this morning, so, figuring nobody else could either, I did something else instead.
