Issue viewing pdfs with images, and zathura pet

I have found that the default PDF Viewer 0.1.8 does not show images in the pdf. not sure why. after playing around, found Zathura and managed to compile version 0.3x of it, and got it working. It shows the images.
if anyone is interested I can post the pet. It only works with this version of Puppy...
I'm not good enough to know how to change that, something to do with installed lib's probably.
