Slimboat the browser. needs QT, not needed with Tharpup as libs are already available. Then Slimboat is perfect (as default in ASRI EDU, and ASRI edu is used in schools))

SimpleScreenRecorder is a Linux program that I've created to record programs and games. There were already a few programs that could do this, but I wasn't 100% happy with any of them, so I created my own.

What i shall say, once Tahrpup has QT libs included, use QT apps.
FFMPEG and Gstreamer and VLC should be in Quickpet as alternative only.
Just my opinion. Tahrpup has QT libs and no QT apps in the menu (Excepted SSR)

vlc is qt... so is transmission & iqpuzzle & ssr

it also compliments many of the apps in quickpet

ok 666philb, i know that.. My proposal was to make quickpet apps as the default menu, taking a glance at the PolarQT 005 by Pemasu..
Slacko and Tahrpup nowadays are the same, But Slacko has FFmpeg included.
If you withdraw pAVrecord because FFmpeg not available, replace it with SSR.
Quickpet : check for apps if they are still available..
Just control applications available in the menu, once, between two versions..
Playing a CD, a DVD, recording your voice, your screen, that will last no longer than half a day..
Most people buy a computer to surf on the web, play games and watch videos. Less for editing their holidays pictures or movies. But they exist . Rainy days in Europe arrive soon. Our Tahrpup passengers will be happy to find these apps in the menu, working just by clicking on..

Shotwell : included in Triton 6.0... Bonus..
Triton is Tahrpup 6.0.5 Chromium will let you surf the web with vocal commands. It workd very well
