G'day,
For some time (at least a month), I have not been able to set the time from psync - just got a blank line where the offset result had been appearing.
Computer time has been lagging so I replaced the 3V battery today but psync was still no longer running for any server I clicked (not just the local 'Oceania').
Looking into the problem, I found psync runs from /usr/local (not /usr/bin) and involves ntpdate.
Tried several different Pups on this desktop and none worked with psync for an updated synchronisation.
A terminal result is in the attached image which identified what seems to be the issue.
Psync works on another desktop on the home network so I don't think it's my ISP blocking the ntp request (a Google-search suggestion). Just something has upset psync on this computer as far as I can guess.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
David S.
