Your 4.17.6-lxpup64 kernel was run in the following pups on this i5 laptop
Code:
System:    Host: puppypc395 Kernel: 4.17.6-lxpup64 x86_64 bits: 64 Desktop: LXDE (Openbox 3.6.1)
           Distro: LxPupSc64 18.06
Machine:   Device: laptop System: FUJITSU product: LIFEBOOK S761 serial: R2500459
Mobo: FUJITSU model: FJNB225 serial: N/A
UEFI [Legacy]: FUJITSU // Phoenix v: Version 1.17 date: 03/14/2012
Battery    CMB1: charge: 62.2 Wh 100.0% condition: 62.2/62.2 Wh (100%)
CPU:       Dual core Intel Core i5-2520M (-HT-MCP-) speed/max: 815/2501 MHz
Graphics:  Card: Intel 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller
Display Server: X.Org 1.20.0 drivers: intel (unloaded: modesetting, vesa) FAILED: fbdev
           Resolution: 1366x768@60.00hz
OpenGL: renderer: Mesa DRI Intel Sandybridge Mobile version: 3.3 Mesa 18.1.3
Network:   Card: Qualcomm Atheros AR9287 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) driver: ath9k
Drives:    HDD Total Size: 120.0GB (30.6% used)
Weather:   Conditions: 84 F (29 C) - Clear Time: July 12, 8:54 PM CDT
Info:      Processes: 151 Uptime: 6 min Memory: 349.7/4789.9MB Client: Shell (bash) inxi: 2.3.40

LxPupSc64 18.06 +1, LxPupSc 18.06 +1, LxPupBionic 18.05 +4, and upupbb 18.05 +7. All booted and run well, video FPS as good or better than the stock kernels in all, CPU idle % unchanged from stock kernels in all, idle memory use (Lxtask reported) is up from 109Mb with the 4.4.96 32b kernel in upupbb to 172Mb. Not of much consequence in the i5. Mitigation as expected
Code:
meltdown   : Mitigation   : PTI
spec_store_bypass   : Vulnerable
spectre_v1   : Mitigation   : __user pointer sanitization
spectre_v2   : Mitigation   : Full generic retpoline
The spec_store_bypass waits (still) on microcode from intel for the second gen i5. This kernel supports 'late' install of the microcode so testing is simple.

Cheers,
