Wary 5.5 - What archetecture to specify for pet Compilation? Subject description: Is i486 the best target archetecture?
What architecture should I target when compiling stuff on Wary 5.5. I'm thinking i486 since wary is meant for older machines. I'm also not sure what architecture is targeted by default upon compilation. Maybe there is some compiler flag I need to specify to target i486.

Suggest you move your Post
You've posted to the Beginner's Help Sub-Forum. "Compiling" is not something Beginner's are likely to do, be interested in, or even want to take the time to read its title while seeking advice needed by Beginners. And many of those who can help Beginners and so read queries in this Section don't know anything about Compiling. Such as myself.
I respectfully suggest you delete your post and resubmit your question to an a more appropriate Section, where it is more likely to attract the attention of those who might be able to answer it. Perhaps either the User's Section (just below the Beginner's Help section) or to the Programming Section, http://murga-linux.com/puppy/index.php?f=46
