French ? They don't screencast anything.. All tutorials are written by hand, sometimes written with a typing machine. In fact french will learn how useful is tutorial screencast, with audio comments.
SSR should get things easier.

Retrovol in multimedia menu, look if bar is activated. If yes, and audio recording still not working (rare) launch alsamixer in terminal, PF4, go right hand (à droite), check if record bar is ticked.

64 bits Puppies : Tahrpup 64 (6.0.5) has Simple screen recorder included int its Multimedia menu. Passengers can keeps hand in their pockets. It's not the same for Slacko 64.. Qt5, libs, even passenger Pelo failed
Xvidcap saved him.
