"IT REFERS TO THE SCREEN POSITION OF THE BAR"--palt is a script or program that makes jwm trays, iirc. the position is handled by the line you gave. if you can find the right tray to edit (geany /root/.jwmrc-tray will open the bottom one/the one in the position of the default puppy tray), then i believe the line should work. track down the correct file and restart jwm after the change.

if it still doesn't work, well, maybe someone else will come along.

further areas for consideration: adding layer="above" or layer="below" can keep the tray above other windows or below them (but i took "top" in your original question as top of the screen, not on top of other things). "always visible" should be handled by autohide="false," and whether it's at the top or bottom (two trays in your shot so i had to guess) is handled by valign="top[or bottom.]"

And if none of PD's additional suggestion fly, switch to Wbar.

Pp4, I'm not going to warn you again not to post the same question several places in the forum. It is extremely rude and annoys the very people you hope will help you. And if you do find an answer, are you planning to go back to all the threads you posted your question to, and post the answer you found?
