When I try to boot into cdrom its show linux running on the screen but hanged when it try to detect USB and the PCMCIA texas instrument PCIxx21/x55 and PCIx21 integrated flash media controller.
So, i decided to try on and old cyrix MII 300 bus 262 old PC and it boot up
successfully but cannot detect sound card which is built into the VIA chipset. The sound card is Cmedia which used a DMA3 and IRQ 05. But all this work fine under window98se.
When I try Luit linux, it uses a redhat sound config and can detect the soundcard successfuly. Well anyone can help me with this ?
Thirdly, when i followed the instruction to make a swap harddisk space , it detected swapon hda3 busy when boot up and showed no significant improvement in speed when i try to boot into the Openoffice puppy distro.
Anyone can help to answer the above questions?
Please email me at hoe_teo@yahoo.com.sg
