Can I burn an iso to a DVD+RW in Puppy Linux?

#1 Post by Inuyasha »

I'm trying to get my facts straight before I go and open a package of DVD+RWs. Am I able to burn an iso to DVD+RWs inside of Puppy Linux? I read the development notes by Barry, but all of those seem to be old and from 2005-2006.

Yes.

Use the burniso2cd utility contained in Puppy (multimedia programme group). You'll need a copy of the .iso file somewhere on your system. It can be on removable media i.e. USB stick.

Especially for multisession, this (or cdrecord from the console) is the most reliable way of burning a puppy-compatible multisession disc.
