Start / Setup / pupgets and dotpups
(from the start button)

this will introduce you to a variety of odd packages to install for free (which is kinda odd too)

Linux is different. Puppy is different too

Would you mind explaining what you did, for the benefit of other beginners with the same question who may read this thread? (It's good for a beginner to try to explain it to other beginners while the learning experience is fresh.)

If you are going to install Firefox to multiple computers, you could burn the downloaded & extracted files from http://www.mozilla.org (currently Firefox 1.05) to a CD. Then after you mount the CD & su to root in rxvt, you can click on /mnt/cdrom/firefox-installer/firefox-installer to start the install, preferably to root. If you want, you could delete the Mozilla icon from your desktop, drag firefox to your desktop from rox, then right mouse click on it to set the Firefox icon.
