Would this mean an initial PUPSAVE at initial boot on the Live/Frugal boot to allow PETs/SFSs without the need for a system restart requirement?

If you have added or upgraded libraries you will need to add the headers and dev libs to the devx anyway.

FWIW, here is the result of a couple of diagnostic runs with fsck on the devx.
I thought it could give us some pointers.

The superblock could not be read or does not describe a valid ext2/ext3/ext4
filesystem.  If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2/ext3/ext4
filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else), then the superblock
is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck with an alternate superblock:
    e2fsck -b 8193 <device>
 or
    e2fsck -b 32768 <device>

I'm not sure, gc. My human RAM is fuzzy about this.

pronto sacare un update con las librerias que me proporciono.
por ahora hice una iso nueva con errores corregidos.
esta el archivo delta para no descargar toda la iso.

No hay retrovol ni alsamixer en el menu...
Si no hay quickpet puede ser seria mejor no mostrarlo en el menu.
Wireless, pupsave, no hacen dificultades..

en mi laptop.

just an idea, from a non-builder, in my opinion Gparted has not to be included in Puppies. Only loaded as a pet if needed. There are several tools like that, used once, or never, that could avoid to delete a word processor daily used.Or to install a browser as default ( a real one, not Dillo or elinks)

Pmusic unable to read the recorde mp3.
Gnome-Mplayer does not read videos...

estuve trabajando en ello , ya gnome-mplayer reproduce bien video y música. pmusic andando. mas librerías actualizadas y agregado synaptic , apt-get.

Downloaded and replaced previous install. Connected to internet ith frisbee no problems. Please remove stemswlan and add Wifi-Connect-33 (the latest much improved version).

Also, synaptic seems to be working quite well. I updated and installed upgrades! There were some errors but nothing to stop functioning synaptic. I would like to know what steps you took to install synaptic! Also when installing from synaptic the Icon field in desktop files is missing the exxtension '.png'. Here is a script to fix it if the icon exists and is a .png.

gracias steemse, el error de synaptic lo vi, al actualizar. es que dbus esta para que no se elimine. y eso provoca el error.

y con lo demas ya estoy descargando para actualizar la iso.

Y con el upgrade con el synaptic, installed 'pam', y con esso no puede iniciar X. Tiene que 'lock' pam.

Soy un winuxero que ando buscando un Puppy para instalar en winxp con LICK, que venga con dropbox y chrome incluidos. Esta distro además es compatible con paquetes .deb ? Se puede instalar con lick ? Gracias
