USB keypad / keyboard

#1 Post by ELMIT »

I have a board, where I use a numeric USB keypad.
This USB keypad is only recognized if I plug in first a USB keyboard.

My application does not require a keyboard. I have a menu where I select via keypad only.
I also noticed that the keypad is always turned to NOT-numeric.
Is there a way to force Puppy to use the keypad from the beginning?

bye

Ronald

You may be able to have your usb keypad working at boot by adding modprobe usbhid to the file /etc/rc.d/rc.local

As for the numlock, see these topics:
